Criw Eirys - Llanuwchllyn After School Club - will operate from January 7th, 2025, at Ysgol O. M. Edwards.Criw Eirys will be open to any primary school pupil including those in the nursery class.Criw Eirys will be open Monday to Thursday, from 3:30-5:30pm. You will be able to book a slot of one or two hours for your child.Any child who attends the Cylch Meithrin and wants to attend Criw Eirys will be provided with free transport from the Village Hall to Ysgol O. M. Edwards at 3:00pm and will be looked after for free until Criw Eirys officially starts at 3:30pm. (The child must have committed to receiving care from 3:30pm to take advantage of this service.)The cost of Clwb Eirys will be £6 for one hour / £10 for two hours per child.• Currently, there is only room for 16 children at Clwb Eirys and it shall operate on a ‘first-come first-serve’ basis.To reserve a place for your child, please send an email to Sioned Roberts using cylchmeithrinllanuwchllyn@hotmail.com. Please state the following details:- Your child's name and age.- Which days of the week you are interested in sending your child to the club.- How many hours you wish your child to attend Criw Eirys on those days. - In the near future, we shall start using the 'Parents Pay' app to accept orders.Why Criw Eirys? Lady Eirys Edwards was the wife of Sir Ifan ab Owen Edwards and she was called 'the mother of the Urdd'. She worked tirelessly to ensure that the children of Wales could take part in numerous activities, and it is a privilege to be able to commemorate her work by naming this new club after her.
